REFERRAL SPECIAL:
At In The Kitchen, Chef Patrick likes to express his appreciation for your referrals. When you refer a new client, In The Kitchen will give you a dinner for two after the new client's third service!

I offer two kinds of Cooking Instruction. For small groups I will prepare a demonstration to take place in your kitchen. For larger groups, I can arrange the rental of a bed and breakfast, a gourmet market, or a cooking store facility. Smaller groups involve more hands-on participation from individuals. Larger groups are typically more of a lecture/demonstration format. In addition, I can arrange a team presentation with myself and other Salt Lake Chefs.

Both choices provide an experience that expands your knowledge of food and culinary techniques, in a fun and casual atmosphere.

What is provided

  • Copies of recipes plus tips& techniques with color photos
  • All plates, cups, utensils will be furnished at the site
  • Beverages of your choice, and things to taste while we cook
  • Enough servings of the dish for each student to enjoy

How it works

Give me a call to discuss the date, amount of people, and topic or recipe you are interested in learning about. I will tell you more about how I give instruction for the topic you are interested in. You can tell me more about what you would like to have demonstrated. If you need suggestions about particular recipe(s), I would be glad to make a recommendation for you. Classes last about 3-4 hours.

Lessons cost

I charge a flat fee based on group size, and the extensiveness of ingredients required for the topic I will be demonstrating. To give you an idea, average presentations run as follows:

  • Small groups ( 6 or less) - $45 per person average.
  • Large groups (7 or more) - $45 to $65 per person average.

We can set the price when we set the agenda for your class.

Payment

A 50% deposit is required a week prior the lesson, the rest by check at the beginning of the class.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations within 72 hours prior to lesson will forfeit deposit payment.
